I am requesting information relating to the procurement and use of intraosseous (IO) access devices within your Trust. Specifically, I request the following information for the most recent full financial year for which data is available (please state the year in your response):


1. INTRAOSSEOUS DEVICE USAGE - GENERAL
a) Does your Trust currently use intraosseous access devices? (Yes/No)
b) Which intraosseous device(s) are in current use across the Trust? Please include the product name, manufacturer, and model.
c) What is the total number of intraosseous needles/sets consumed per year across all clinical departments and settings?
d) What is the total annual expenditure on intraosseous needles and consumables?

2. EZ-IO SYSTEM (TELEFLEX / VIDACARE)
a) Does your Trust use the EZ-IO intraosseous infusion system? (Yes/No)
b) If yes, how many EZ-IO powered drivers (handsets) are currently held within the Trust?
c) What was the capital expenditure on EZ-IO drivers in the most recent full financial year?
d) How many EZ-IO needles were consumed in the most recent full financial year? Please break this down by needle gauge/size if possible (e.g. 15mm, 25mm, 45mm).

e) What was the total annual expenditure on EZ-IO needles?
f) Under what procurement route were the EZ-IO products sourced (e.g. NHS Supply Chain, direct contract, framework agreement)?
